Tips to taking carotenoids
- Always take with a large fatty meal for better absorption.
- Split up doses as much as possible, I take morning/evening with breakfast and dinner. Splitting the dose can help with absorption and reduce GI side effects.
- Wait 2-3 months before assessing results.
- Carotenoid coloration is different than a suntan. It is more orange/red and less dark. It appears as a healthy glow that others will notice.

Take if you do not consume many carotenoid containing foods. I eat a lot of sweet potato, bell pepper, leafy greens for my beta carotene. I would take this one every other day. You don’t want too much beta-carotene or it may turn you an unnatural color and it will take weeks to months to reverse. I recommend 10mg or less per day, start low and titrate.
