• Can i use over retinoids, retinol, retinal, or tretinoin? Yes, and in fact I slug over tretinoin myself. However, slugging over retinoids can increase their absorption and make them stronger, potentially leading to serious irritation. To compensate for the stronger effect, I use less tretinoin and this works great. Ask your doctor if you are using retinoids for a medical condition.
